There has been much discussion recently concerning the potential risk of an electromagnetic pulse (EMP). There are two major causes of EMP’s being discussed. One an act of nature, the other an act of man. A coronal mass ejection (CME) is the result of a naturally occurring solar storm. An EMP can also be caused by a high-altitude nuclear explosion.
